According to China Business Times, the global registration of .cn domain names have been increasing in a rapid rate.  In June 2003, there were 250,000 registrations, in June 2004, there were 380,000 registrations, and the latest figures in April 2005 had indicated that the global registration of .cn domain names had exceeded 500,000.  In percentage terms, 100% increase in less than 2 years.
