Congratulations to Mr. To Cheung Being Elected as Director of HKIRC

Mr. To Cheung, CEO of UDomain Web Hosting Company Ltd., is elected as Director of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC). In the Fourth Annual General Meeting of HKIRC, Mr Cheung stood out from other candidates and is elected as the member of the Broad of Director of HKIRC.

HKIRC and its subsidiary, Hong Kong Domain Name Registration Company Limited (HKDNR), is a non-profit-making and non-statutory organization overseeing administration and assignment of domain name. It is mainly responsible for representing Hong Kong to join international internet forums and motivate e-business development in Hong Kong.

The Board of Directors is composed of members from six different classes including government-appointed member, IT Industry Class, Tertiary Institution Class, etc. Mr Cheung is elected as the representative of the User Class.

Mr. Cheung allocated much effort in IT industry. Other than establishing web hosting company and supporting HKIRC, he is also a founder member of the Hong Kong Web Hosting Association (HKWHA). His experience and knowledge in IT industry can surely benefit the field of Internet development.
