Summary of D-Biz Programme (1st phase):

• The Distance Business Programme is launched by the HKITC
• Application opens on May 18; could take just 10 days to proceed
• Each solution could receive up to HK$100,000 funding, and each enterprise may receive total funding of up to HK$300,000
• Projects may last up to 6 months

 

The Programme covers 12 categories of IT solutions for distance business, including:

1. Online business (web portal development and management, placing orders through the Internet, social media promotion, etc.);
2. Online order taking and delivery, and smart self-service systems;
3. Online customer services and engagement (including distance learning facilities);
4. Digital customer experience enhancement (chatbot, AR, VR, MR, etc.);
5. Digital payment/mobile point of sale;
6. Online/cloud-based financial management systems (invoicing and bill collection, accounting and budget planning, etc.);
7. Online/cloud-based human resources management systems (payroll and expense reimbursement, attendance and leave records, etc.);
8. Remote document management, cloud storage and remote access services (remote desktop, VPN, etc.);
9. Virtual meeting and conference tools;
10. Virtual team management and communications (online instant messaging, video and voice calls, etc.);
11. Cybersecurity solutions (data encryption, firewall, anti-virus/malware solutions, etc.);
12. Other online/custom-built/cloud-based business support systems (ERP, e-application forms, etc.).
